![]() ![]() Just recently, we worked with Montgomery County to reroute calls from a tower in their jurisdiction to our center because a majority of the 911 calls that routed through that particular cell phone tower were for emergencies in our city. We often audit tower sites to identify where the majority of the calls originate from. We work with our neighbors and the cellular carriers to minimize this occurrence from happening. This made it so the number of misrouted calls were greatly reduced. In 2018, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) released a Notice of Inquiry and many carriers started pushing location-based technologies and routing on their networks. If your 911 call is routed to a neighboring jurisdiction, stay on the line – we can and will get you to the right jurisdiction within a few seconds and with dynamic location information. Location-based routing technologies allow cellular carriers to route wireless 911 calls based on location information gathered from the handset, rather than the location of the cell tower. Sometimes, the location where the cell phone call is being made and the cell phone tower it's being routed through are not in the same jurisdiction. For example, if you're on 30th Place and Perry Street, NE and make a 911 call from your cell phone, you may first be connected with Prince George's County, because that's where the closest cell phone tower is located. Why is that?Ĭell phone calls, including 911 calls, are routed through cell phone towers. Sometimes when I call 911 from Washington, DC, I get a neighboring jurisdiction. Simply entering 911 into a new text message session and telling us where you are and what the situation is. Those who are in situations that they don't feel like they can talk, can also text. The most important thing that a caller can do when they call 911 is stay on the line, we will get to you, the phone system will not disconnect you and we will answer the call in the order in which it was received. All calls where a caller stays in the queue as prompted are answered in the order in which they are received into our 911 system. When a caller dials 911 in Washington, DC, they are either met with a live person ready to take their call or a message in multiple languages advising them to stay on the line. For police-related emergencies, the call-taker takes the information and forwards it via computer to police dispatchers, also within the call center. The inter-ionic distances in the two cases we are talking about would increase from 0.365 nm to 0.399 nm - an increase of only about 9%. For the sake of argument, suppose that the carbonate ion radius was 0.3 nm. I can't find a value for the radius of a carbonate ion, and so can't use real figures. Although the inter-ionic distance will increase by the same amount as you go from magnesium carbonate to calcium carbonate, as a percentage of the total distance the increase will be much less. If you keep your cheapest inert wands until very late in the game, you can craft the highest damage wands from them. There's no crafting recipe to create inert wands. There's a level range in which types of inert wands can be found in treasure or at traders. ![]() This is why you create the wand with the biggest damage from the cheapest ingredient. The crafted wand is then scaled up to the crafter's level, but it has the boost of the level 1 wand, the one created from the next tier ingredient has the boost of a level 8 wand, and so on, always depending on the used inert wand type. You create a wand with the data of a level 1 wand with the cheapest ingredient, of a level 8 wand with the next one and so on. Now, with wands, there is a difference: there are no specific data records for crafted wands, Larian used the records of drops for crafted wands. If drops had boosts between 0% and -30% from level 1 through 20, it is clear, that at some point, a crafted weapon has a bigger damage than a dropped one of the same item level. ![]() A dropped weapon has a fixed level and with that the damage boost of this level. So crafted weapons might be weaker than drops on low levels but stronger than drops with high level, because the boost of high level drops will go below that of crafted ones.įor example is a crafted weapon might have a boost of -10%, it has that boost for every level it's created with. When a weapon is crafted, the weapons level is adjusted to the caster's level, but the weapons base data stays constant, also the DamageBoost.
